From dropping a surprise hit song with rapper Mac Miller to being Justin Bieber's newest opening act to all things "Sam & Cat," Ariana Grande is on fire, these days. And now she's got a major magazine cover under her belt: Grande has just been announced as a summer cover star of Seventeen magazine.
On the August issue of the teen fashion mag, the 19-year-old rocks bright colors and a laidback, summer-y look, complete with a blue trucker hat. Scroll down to see a larger photo. You’ve been working on your album for three years. What’s taking so long!?
I’m a big perfectionist! I’m trying to channel super-confident women like Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey and Beyonce, because I realized that if you want something, you really have to go for it, just like they do.
On her confidence faltering when she was filming "Victorious":
I worked with someone who told me they’d never like me. But for some reason, I just felt like I needed her approval. So I stared changing myself to please her. It made me stop being social and friendly. I was so unhappy.
